Haiti Village Health: Traditional Birth Attendants given safe birthing kits

Haiti Village Health would like to thank the Cap Haitien Health Network for providing soap, gowns and sheets which helped to stock 18 safe birthing kits.  The kits were given to 18 Traditional Birth Attendants working throughout the Bas Limbe region, after they attended a course in 'Healthy Pregnancy and Safe Delivery'.  The birthing kits will aim to reduce child and mother morbidity and mortality during childbirth.
